This is a unique and tough Chihuahuan desert shrub. Smallish rounded grey-green leaves are covered with downy white pubescent fuzz that causes the plant to appear silver white. In spring, atop angular branches, plants form round marble-sized flowers comprised of bright orange petals. All Buddleia species are fantastic at attracting butterflies and other pollinators, this drought tolerant type is no exception.
