Crested Cereus are an unusual form of C. peruvianus. Normally they have a tall columnar, multi-branched form, but plants that are crested produce uniquely patterned fan, or wavy whorled shapes. Each one will form its own unique pattern. Slow growers, they typically mature to around 6ft. tall and wide. Flesh is blue-green, and spines are short with dark gray color.
