Yucca pallida – Pale leaf yucca
Native to north-central Texas (typically west of I-35) the Pale Leaf Yucca makes an excellent low-maintenance groundcover accent plant. Its flexible, powder blue leaves measure 1 inch wide by 1-2 ft. long with fine serrated edges. In late spring they produce a tall, branched flower stalk covered with large, pure white, bell-shaped flowers. They are prized for their durability, low maintenance, and bright, distinctive color. Moderate to fast growing. Mass plant them, use them in xeric transition zone areas, or as specimen container plants. Easy to grow.Â
